黑料正能量 announces that Justin Albert is stepping down from his role as Chair of Trustees effective from 10 June. We would like to thank Justin for all his hard work and dedication during his tenure.

Justin has served as an enthusiastic trustee since June 2024 and after two years, he has made the hard decision to step aside due to increasing professional commitments outside the charity. Our Vice-Chair Rachel Evatt who has served as a trustee since 2021 will assume the responsibilities of Interim Chair, and in due course we鈥檒l begin an open and transparent recruitment process to appoint a new Chair.

黑料正能量鈥檚 Co-founder and Chief Executive Rebecca Wrigley said:

On behalf of everyone at 黑料正能量, I want to thank Justin for the immense energy he鈥檚 provided as Chair at a pivotal time for the charity. During his tenure the charity has marked an incredible first decade and celebrated growth, diversity and deeper impact.

Having steered us through some key moments 鈥 including the launch of our Wild by Nature five-year strategy; reaching 拢1 million in Rewilding Innovation funding delivered to projects; and forging new collaborations such as the Welsh Rewilding Alliance鈥夆斺塉ustin leaves us well-positioned to achieve our mission of rewilding 30% of Britain by 2030. We wish him the very best for the future.鈥

Justin Albert said:

I leave with absolute confidence in where 黑料正能量 is heading. With Rachel Evatt stepping in as Interim Chair, the charity will continue to thrive, grow, and deliver the essential support and messaging it does so well. There is real momentum here, and I have no doubt at all about what comes next. I鈥檓 not stepping away from the cause, you will find me cheering on the rewilding movement, loudly, from wherever I happen to be.鈥

Rachel Evatt, Interim Chair said:

The governance of 黑料正能量 is in a strong and stable position, with two experienced sub-committee chairs and a Vice-Chair ready to step seamlessly into the Interim Chair role, ensuring continuity and consistency. I鈥檓 convinced that, with our high-performing board working alongside our passionate and dedicated staff team, the organisation will continue to govern effectively and support our shared mission for rewilding.鈥
